Lunacy
Not denied
Nor sparred
Hear
Understand
Take it in
Make it yours
You’ll think
I’ll just assume
That I am mad
Quite insane
But in fact
It is you
Not me
That is crazy
Plainly insane
Pseudo lazy
A vulture
Upon a carcass
Mine
To be exact
Picking up
The pieces
Of what
You need
And leaving
What you don’t
Behind
You there
Modesty
Not squared
Hypocrisy
Ensnared
Do what you’ve
Come to do
Hurry it up
Take everything
Leave nothing
For those
Coming next
They would not
Under any circumstance
Do anything different
They would
Without question
Pick both
My mind
And these bones
Consuming
All that is
Without question
Digestible
Their guts
Are bulletproof
They can
Stomach much
Deep
In their bowls
All that I am
And ever was
Would stew
Only
The passage of time
Would lend them relief
From all that I mean
So please
You there
See what I see
Feel these lines
Take them in deep
Consume my flesh
And my meat
Stuff your gut
Become so full
Upon the knowledge
Consumed
Become sick
Become ill
Let it all stew
Rot away
In the pits
Of your own pain
But unlike me
Before it’s too late
Find the means
To escape
Once outside
Unlike those
Confined inside
Hold them hostage
Over these ideas
Allow nothing
That I’ve ever said
To change you
From all
That you’ve been
Or will ever be
You there
A parasite
Not denied
Nor sparred
Suckle
Upon these lines
Bite down
Upon each verse
Chew
Spit
And repeat
All that you wish
Do what you can
To take knowledge
From all that I
Have ever penned
A vicious circle
Such as this
Requires that all parties
Are duplicitous…
