For what I've done I was judged by a many with quite a load on his mind and in his hands.

Stones lent
From no friend
Thrown
At my head
Aimed
At my heart
Meant
To do me harm
Him and I
Are just men
Living as is
Somehow
He was offended
By me
Or so he believes
Exactly how
Remains not seen
He, himself
Has decided
That he
Will be my judge
The jury
Thus executioner
I’m certain
Without question
That he
Could have chosen
Another method
Maybe the blade
Maybe a hail of lead
Maybe a lot of things
But instead
He selected stones
Of varying sizes
And certain grotesqueries
Stones lent
Thrown at
My heart and head
At first
I was able to dodge
At first
His aim was off
But before too long
He found his stride
As I lost mine
A stone
The size of his fist
Hit me in the head
Down I went
Then after that
All others piled up
Crushed down
Stones lent
Bashing me to death
Each one hurts less
Because of the shock
Due to the
Increasing blood loss
Soon I’ll be departed
And he will remain
To live with what
He is sure
I forced him to do
He could have been kind
He could have forgiven me
He could have done
Many things
But he refused
Instead he
My accuser
Hurled stones at me
Missing some
Landing others
The pain was great
Now
It’s all but faded away
I’m closer to the end
While he still has
Quite a few stones
Left in his hand…
