sometimes i want to just scream like they do.
The screaming, the cursing, so much fear

The hate, the anger, so many tears

My heart, itâs beating to fast

It hurts, too much for me to bear

The pain, I canât live with it

My lungs, I canât breathe

The people I love, they are hurting

Donât you care?

The people I love, they are angry

Please stop here

I know you can see

I know you can feel

The strain we are put through

Like a band pulled so tight, one more word

Well, no more fights

We will separate, emotionally and physically

We are already half way there

Mom and dad, they fight like we use to

Itâs always like that, canât you see

Iâm too terrified to move, to even speak

Itâs always like this

I remember now

I remember a child, so scared and tough

Holding her mother

As you fought

Screaming, screaming, yelling, and words

Iâm so frightened

Now I canât scream, now I crying

I canât be mad because of the little things you did

Not your intention, I know it wasnât

But then it never was your fault

Not even when you where the cause

None of you meant to fuel this silent storm of mine

I canât be mad, they said so

Not with words, not that they know

âHe didnât mean itâ

âHe said sorryâ

âYou donât understand. Please donât yellâ

âDonât raise your voiceâ

âIt's not a big dealâ

It is a big deal.

You all scream

You all yell

Yetâ¦

Iâm stuck in the silent storm of emotions

What is meant to be let out and embrace with pure thoughts and care

I bottle up like an ugly secret that isnât to see the light of understanding

Because of your fights

Because of your words

Because of your damn actions

I canât even say a word

I canât because of the fear

My true fear

Fear of my silence

But thenâ¦

Maybe that should be your fear, too.

Because once my silence breaks

And I promise, there will be a break,

I will be your main Fear.
