A poem I wrote when I needed to breathe out.
Pain can wear many clothes
May it be Desire's gown
Or Death's long black robes
How did Hope's white veil
Grow all these sharp thorns?

Grappling the crevices of life
Seems to be a danger sport
I never knew the secrets
These mountains would hold

When lips are bound
Yet insides scream
And still no words come
Then we know
Surely it's time to let go
