this is my first try at a triquatrain poem
it is a sort of raging love story |
Burning Embers ![]() Lisa Noe ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Leave not ember burning for my stomach it is churning, All will be lost, this I fear the flames devour a once beautiful love. You attempt to rescue me, but I refuse to flee. You will protect me when it comes to push or shove. I am staring into your eyes knowing you were my only guy, No one else will have my back but the flames go higher. I love you and no one else, the stories you have heard are false. You can save me from myself and my desire. You brush the tears from my face, you set for me a new pace, I can keep up with you my dear, I won’t fall behind again. I’ll take more respect, and a fortress I’ll erect. In all things, I shall know that first of all you are my friend. Note: this is my first try at a Triquatrain poem 18 lines 150 Words |
