Writing exercise--use senses -- example

WRITING EXERCISE and Example
beginning of a short story

Use all the senses to set a scene,,,can you make your reader FEEL...

...AND PERHAPS EVEN REACT TO THE SETTING (AND CHARACTERS) YOU INTRODUCE IN YOUR STORY ??

As reminder, the five senses are:

To hear,
To feel,
To smell,
To hear,
To touch,
To taste.

I'm starting this story, recalling one cold Autumn evening's weather recently...moist and gloomy, but with a glow. Smiles fade in fog, imaginations can spark.
