The Elf-Maid of the Sea

Across the sea,

The great, great sea,

There lived an Elven maid,

Whose beauty outshone the sun,

And greeted the land each day,

And across the sea,

The great, great sea,

An Elven Prince has heard her call.

He built a fleet,

A great, great fleet,

And into the west he sailed,

To join her in loveâs sweet exile.

Across the sea,

The great, great sea,

She waits for him,

She sings to him,

Across the sea,

The great, great sea,

He sails for her,

With the wind in his sails,

Across the sea,

The great, great sea,

She prepares for him,

To join her in loves sweet exile,

When a storm,

A great, great storm,

Engulfed the fleet,

When all seemed lost,

He found the strength to cast aside the storm,

The weak, weak storm,

For love gave him the strength,

For true love conquers all,

She cheered for him,

As she found her love,

And across the sea,

The small, small sea,

He saw her on the shore,

She sang to him,

She sang of love and life,

She sang of peace and joy,

And he heard her song,

And wept with joy,

As he found his love at last.

Across the sea,

The great, great sea,

Their hearts reached out,

And drew them together,

Against all odds,

For true love conquers all!
