An x-ray department was where I was at
Dressed in an awkward hospital gown
A hard plastic chair was just where I sat
Praying bare parts wouldn't show all around
Now I'm not much to look at, no feast for the eye
Like most who were stuck in that sad gown clad plight
The same did not hold for the next to walk by
An angel to look at, the eye's pure delight
That cutey was curvy and blond was her hair
She walked with a sway and a most pleasing swish
It was hard to control my desire to stare
When some unknown force must have granted a wish
The back of the flimsy hospital gown blew open
My eyes were prepared to behold what might show
I never did see that for which I was hopin'
A second closed gown she was wearing below
And so the gown incident wasn't so ducky
Denied my vision by fate's cold cruel joke
There was still a chance that I might get lucky
And find on my x-ray that my arm's not broke.
