My Masterpiece

My room,
My safe zone,
Where I get away from every minuscule thing,

My room,
The collection of trophies, each holding a memory,
The picture of my ancient dog, holding the good times,

My room,
My own,
Where the memories happen over and over again,

My room,
Where all of my dreams come to life,
Where I pray to be the best I can be the next day,

My room,
This is where all of the tense thoughts come to a deadline,
This is where my freedom appears,

My room,
This is my masterpiece,
This is my home.
