There is a point in life when those of us know that we are crazy, and embrace it. |
-Something So- by Keaton Foster From my mouth Something I’ve made From my hands Something enslaved From my mind Imagination unhinged There are no rules As far as I go I am unafraid of results Not concerned with doubt Believe me or don’t Understand me or not Pointless I fear you may be Not to be cruel Nor to be kind You are just there And so am I We are each On one side of the page We are each sending And by default receiving These words to me are life I have no idea What they are to you I wish I could know But I understand That often I can’t And just won’t Here I am a beggar A panhandler of thoughts The chances are I’ll starve to death But not for awhile Something so Is all that I know What I understand The life of this man Are these true words There are no lies Just elaborations Slight exaggerations Brutal concepts Via modification In my reality Before these pages They are far more complex Impossible at best Something so Others either won’t Or just don’t get it I’m trying to dumb it down Make it somehow relatable To the lowest common multiple But quite understandably That is not so easy Hate me if you must This is no insult to you Readers, thus breeders These, my ideas Could lead you to yours All forms of greatness Come from madness All relationships At some point Will end in sadness Something so That’s what I know I’m willing to say it Convey it Damn it to the page Express what society says I should keep to my very self I’m not necessarily smarter than you Just a hell of a lot madder than you Insanity is the duality Upon which I have found All that I can deal with I’m alive because of Such an important discovery I refuse to take you for granted But then again There are so few of you That truly get me That taking any of you For granted Is not an option… Something So Written by Keaton Foster Copyright © 2014. |
