A friendly game of neighborhood ball
"Batter, batter, batter, S W I N G, batter!
Screaming and hollering, our jeering is strong
striking them out with our endless chatter,
'til each batter is out and gone

Smiling, while giving each other the sign
we work in perfect synchronicity
keeping our eye on the next in line
and pitching my fast ball exquisitely.

No need for stuffy
uniforms here,
not when we're in our own stomping grounds.
Up to bat, no jeering do I hear,
I'm in my own zone, I don't play around.

The bat hits the ball, with a loud crack,
grinning ear-to-ear, I take off
running for the bases, I don't look back,
here's a
tissue, go ahead and scoff.

Jumping with joy, I run into home
high-fiving our awesome team.
Our dirt field's fine, don't need a dome,
"We are the champions", we all scream!

Sun's going down, the
moon's coming out,
we wipe the sweat from our brow.
"Great win!" No one pouts
we're too happy in the here and now.

Running home, jumping off of
cliffs
so glad it's summer vacation.
We're all friends, no time for tiffs,
just lots of laughs and relaxation!
