The Hat, that'd be me, otherwise she'd be some old book lady-- like a bag lady with books. I make her distinctive! (I also preserve her dignity on bad hair days when her curls undulate in haphazard fashion.) We made an instant connection she and I as I hung around on my brass hook in the consignment shop: done deal for a couple of bucks. Truth be told, I am worth more than that and she'd have paid more, but we are both happy we met that fateful day. She says I am her 'lucky hat' but I think she's my lucky lady. |
