A Triolet on prayer.

Meditative Ohm (so humm)
Carol St. Ann

Wistful chords flow through my spirit, guiding;
silent lyrics sound my heart's desire,
submissive to a higher Will, abiding.
Wistful chords flow through my spirit, guiding.
Inspiration, prayer, and soulful chiding -
stimulating smoldering inner fire.
Wistful chords flow through my spirit, guiding.
Silent lyrics sound my heart's desire.

Notes for reviewers:
The so hum is a primary meditation comprised of four basic questions:
1. Who am I - universally?
2. What do I want - on small and large areas of life?
*3. What is my purpose? (how can I help others? how can I help myself?)
*4. What am I grateful for?

The first two questions inspire patience, as they are left to steep. (Definition: to soften, cleanse, or extract some constituent.)
The Second two are the more powerful, immediate areas on which to focus.
The entire poem is a metaphor for the second level of primary meditative prayer.
