From the perspective of a Cuban man working in an all inclusive hotel
Wander this lobby day and night
Serve the patrons with more than me
Show off money - plagues dreams so bright
Yet I smile and joke as I go

Work sixteen hours and sleep just three
All the time I'm stood on my feet
I hear thy moans and pray for thee
Yet I smile and joke as I go

Deal with rude patrons the day long
I work so hard and get no thanks
No clue what it takes to be strong
Yet I smile and joke as I go

Earn ten Dollars in thirty days
Use the pay to feed my children
Only dream of a day to laze
Yet I smile and joke as I go
