A little story of a boy at a coffee shop.

I take a sip from my millionth coffee cup,
Waiting, for someone who might not turn up.
I look at the place around me,
Wide smiles and life is all I see.

I hear some people talking,
I see some people laughing.
There's happiness on everyone's face,
They all seem to be in a better place.

I look around at the staff,
They look like they were born to laugh.
Around the coffee shop they pace,
Everything seems brighter than my face.

The doors open, and someone walks in.
I stare with my hands under my chin.
It isn't who I'm waiting for,
And I look away from the door.

I see the happy faces, and smile,
Realizing what a fool I've been all this while.
I jump out of my chair, and out of the doors I hop,
Taking with me the smiles at the coffee shop!
