Religious commentary, disguised in beauty.
Waterdance

Before time, or perhaps outside of it,

And before all things, or perhaps encompassing them,

There was only Her.

She was content in Her existence, such as it was.

She drifted aimlessly through Her own mind,

As that was the only place to go.

For a time, if there was time, She existed in harmony with Herself.

However,

As with any eternity, change came.

Her thoughts began to assemble themselves into patterns,

And those patterns began to assemble themselves into rhythms.

Her body,

If it could be called such,

Began to move to these rhythms.

And She Danced.

Her movements filled the space She occupied,

If it could be called space.

She spun across Her existence, dancing to its rhythm.

And as She danced,

Existence rippled out from Her in circles;

In wondrous and terrifying waves.

She grew smaller with each wave,

If She could have been said to have a shape.

She Danced until Her existence was ended.

Or perhaps just changed.

Her waves rippled on, however.

Expanding, connecting, settling, and searching.

Existence poured from every wave.

And from existence came life.

And such is how all we know came to be.

Or maybe it isn't.

Who am I to say?
