White Cutlass

I'm dreaming of a white Cutlass;
an Oldsmobile was my first car.
My chrome wheels glistened,
On my 8-track I listened
to Dwayne Eddy playing surf guitar.

I'm dreaming of a white Cutlass,
four on the floor, white Naugahyde.
I'd put the top down and just ride
cruising the strip, you by my side.

I'm dreaming of a white Cutlass;

convertible with high end specs,
when summer days seemed less complex
and the backseat had room for sex.
