#1 of the IFLs! There will also be IFMs (Imaginary Friend Memos). |
Dear Robin, We should form a band together someday, don’t you think? I’d like to leave the name up to you, but I really don’t want to make it just a duet band. I think it would be a good idea if we had at least 3-4 band members in our group. I don’t know if it’ll be a girl group when we’ll be singing together or a standard band where there’s only one lead singer. I think it should be a girl group, don’t you think? Yeah, a girl group! But what should it be called? However, I’d like this girl group to have the pop genre, OK? Didn’t you say that you wanted to become a pop songstress someday? I could have sworn you did when you texted Patricia, Rosalina, and I in that ChatRoom in Cypra. We should also write the songs together!—Unless, only one should do it. Maybe we can take turns as a group writing songs! But since it’s a girl group, we should each get parts to sing. But I bet since you should know about song-writing than I do, you should take your first shot at writing the first song! But make sure that everyone has a chance to sing in it. If you don’t know much about song-writing, just look it up. Good idea, right? I should look up how to write songs when you’ve had a turn to write a song. Maybe we can take turns with different parts of being a girl group: writing the songs, recording the song keyboards, planning the next song, and of course, recording our vocals as we sing our songs. I heard that we can also cover songs as a group, but we’d need a lot of money to do so and permission from the original artist. I somehow already have a first song planned to cover. I don’t want to explain it yet, though because talking about covering songs makes me nervous. I’ll be sending emails like this to Patricia and Rosalina to remind them about my idea. It might not be the same as this email, though, OK? I sure hope this band will be successfully planned someday and will never break up! —Aurora |
