This story is about Christmas being cancelled and about not always getting your own way. |
The year christmas was cancelled It was a frosty day in December the day that we know was called Christmas Eve all the kids around the world were so exited because they all knew that christmas was a special day where Santa Claus would pop down through the chimney and leave behind an enormous pile of presents and gifts for them. A few weeks ago people we're visiting Santa in his grotto and asking what they wanted for christmas there were quite a lot of things children wanted for christmas such as: bikes, ponies, scooters, phones, dolls, roller skates and much more. All the kids were of for there break at school most of the kids in Heywood were playing out on there sledges seen as it was snowy then there mums shouted them in for there tea. They gobbled there tea up , had a bath and brushed there teeth then there parents would help them pour a glass of milk and put a few cookies or mince pies and a carrot for Rudolph on a plate. They would hang there stockings up by the fireplace and then sit comfortably on the couch and watch the evening news. On the news it said that a young boy had been rushed to hospital due to he has been ran over then there was another headline saying christmas is cancelled because Santa Claus has been rushed to hospital due to very high temperatures and he Is very ill. Everyone was so shocked. Kids were running round the house screaming and crying parents were thinking what a waste of time putting all the decorations up. The best time of year had just been ruined. Parents were packing up there decorations and christmas trees and the milk and biscuits, it took quite a long time. All the children were so upset that they didn't even want to leave there houses they just wanted to stay in there houses all day long in there rooms. Parents were so disappointed for there children. Just imagine how you would feel if christmas was cancelled or your kids would feel? Kids were starting to calm down a bit after they had heard the devastating news. To calm there selves down they just had the best time ever and played on there sledges some fell off and they just laughed about it they made this day the best christmas ever even though they didn't receive gifts and presents. Christmas is not all about receiving gifts and presents it's about remembering the time about Jesus and just having the best time ever and having loads and loads of fun. Merry christmas everyone and a very very happy new year hope you have an amazing christmas. Written by aleesha lamb |
