Goodbye

Tears rumbling down her cheeks,
She looks around the room but no one speaks,

Her life has crumbled in her hands,
Flowing though her fingers like grains of sand,

She doesn't know how it got so bad,
Never noticed that she was so sad,

Reaching out for a hand to hold,
Seeing now how people are cold,

Standing up she dusts herself off,
Letting them know that she's not that soft,

Walking away with her head held high,
She finally found the courage to say Goodbye.
