A cool poem about an idea that keeps filling my head, leaving me asking "what if?"

He sits
Pondering
What if
He knows
Understands
Very little
A nubile creature
Truly innocent
The schemes
He does not need
What he wishes
What he wants
Is as plain as day
Right as rain
True as all faith
The world
The one outside
He has never seen
He knows nothing
Of every other existence
He knows only of his own
In his four walled kingdom
There are no idols
No tributes to the past
There is nothing
But bare walls
Unfilled spaces
Not yet decorated
Monuments
Never to be crafted
Temple child
Is his name
The only way
He has become
Identifiable
Is because
I have imagined him
Because I value him
And what it means for him
To have been envisioned
In his clean hands
He holds the world
Not the one outside
The one yet to become
He was entrusted by a god
Not necessarily the one of man
But the one of all creation
He was told
Outright ordered
Hold this sphere of awakening
Never allow it to be taken
Disregard what is waiting
Ignore what’s out there
Let the sinners sin
Let the madmen dance
Time and time again
They will make their own mistakes
Fools always do as they must
They cannot change any of this
Only you
The one so entrusted
The one so encompassed
Only you hold such power
One day you’ll know
You’ll truly understand
On that day walk outside
Let loose your hand
End the reign of man
Deliver unto the world
The one you don’t know
Unquantifiable change
Temple child
Ordained by the god
Of every single creation
When the time has come
Do what must be done
Know nothing of what is meant
Only find peace in the idea
That you have done
What was wished
By the one you blindly serve
By the one who created you
And your four walled kingdom
Devoid of any distractions…
