Healing

I have a heart of compassion that wants to heal the world’s pain
And take away all the bad thoughts, pains, and diseases that invade the human brain
I took on this task a few years back and have put forth great effort to see it through
But I’ve found that I am not very successful; as it turns out I’m human too
Fortunately, I know someone who can take away all pain and sorrow with a simple nod
He is the omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, and Almighty God!
When I start to feel sick, or hurt, or afraid, or in the least bit sad
All I have to do is talk it over with my Heavenly Dad.
There are many people in my life who I can trust and turn to on most days
The Great I Am is the only one who will be there yesterday, today, and always!
I know these things because I have experienced the love of God often
So if you don’t know Him, I ask you to allow your heart to soften
He does not promise that trusting in Him will make life easier, no
But it does help when He is guiding where each of your footsteps should go.
So if your are suffering and frequently feel physical, emotional, or spiritual pain
Give it to God, for you have nothing to lose, and a whole and eternal life to gain
