Running through the forest along narrow dirt paths, watching branches whip by without accidentally scratching my eyes out. It’s getting dark and the sun is fast setting behind me. I see my shadow grow longer and longer the nearer I get to the top of the hill. I know my brother is waiting for me there and that I’m late but it’s not my fault. He’s sure to blame me any way. The two fish I caught swing from my arm, wetly slapping against my side mingling with sweat and sea salt. I hope that we will be able to roast marshmallows but it depends on if my brother is in a good mood. He does not like sweets but I don’t think it gives him the right to make the rest of us do without.
