Two countries at the brink of war, and only two who can stop it: Jacum and Asher.
(Shows map of Mune and Sone, voice over)

Long ago, two countries went to war over a small sliver of land. Many people died. So, to never have such a war again, the two countries decided to create a tournament to solve their disagreements. But both warriors fighting in the tournament were killed. The sliver of land became neutral to honor them.

(Shows title MUNESONE and begins to play epic music. While music plays, scenes change to show Jacum Rucker III [young man about 19 years of age] practicing fighting. [either in his families' cemetery, or an open field]. Switches to Asher Pendant [girl also around that age] practicing her fighting in the streets or small overgrown area. Switches back and forth until the music ends. Fades to black.)

(Jacum collapses into a chair in his house, weary from training. His father, Jacum Rucker II, or Lord Rucker, is dressed finely and looking out the window)

"Where were you?"-Lord Rucker

"I was just out---"-Jacum

"Out!"-Lord Rucker

(He turns around from the window and glares at his son.)

"The people are saying that you're their best champion."-Lord Rucker

(Jacum slightly nods)

"You have to work hard if you want Sone to win again."- Lord Rucker

"What? Does it look like i'm working easy?"- Jacum

(Father gives Jacum a look)

"Look, I won the last two times Father, I don't think this time will be any different."-Jacum

"You had better be right, my fortune is on the line."-Lord Rucker

"You mean you bet on me again? I told you not to do that anymore. The match was pretty close last time..."-Jacum

"But you still won, the people of Sone celebrated for weeks afterward, and Lord Moach gave me enough money to have all the beggars on the streets eat like kings!"-Lord Rucker

"Money that you're now betting again! What if I lose? All that you won the last two tournaments will be gone. This isn't wise and you know it!"- Jacum

(Father gets steadily more angry)

"You're too young to understand wisdom. Let you're old Father settle the money. All you have to do is win."- Lord Rucker

"What will happen to the estate if I lose? You have to think of the servants, of all the villagers who rely on us to buy from them. If you lose that bet, they will lose everything!"- Jacum

(Father reaches tipping point.)

"You will, WILL win the tournament, understand? You will win, or you are no son of mine, is that clear?"- Lord Rucker

(Jacum looks down, succumbing to his father's fury.)

"Yes, Father."- Jacum

(In the town, Asher leans against a wall, eyes following people as they pass by.)

"Lloyd! Are you up for a challenge? Five silver, say?"- Asher

"Aye, I wish I could, but my backside's still aching from when you beat me last week, swear all my bones had bruises, though the lads claimed I was still alive. You sure pack a mighty hard punch, for all that you're a girl."- Lloyd

"Oh, that's alright then."- Asher

"No worry, some poor fighter will come, thinking to earn some easy cash, fail to size you up properly and end up limping down the street. Why does that sound familiar?" (Winks) "Oh yeah, that's what happened to me."- Lloyd

(Lloyd tips his hat and Asher nods her head in parting.)

"Well, well. If it isn't Asher the orphan. Still losing challenges like your mom and dad?"- Garnet

(Asher turns around to see Garnet who came up behind her.)

"What do you want Garnet?"- Asher

"Nothing, really"- Garnet

"Then go away, I don't like speaking with slime like you."- Asher

"Who's the slime? My parents didn't go off and die, and leave me living on the streets like yours did."- Garnet

"Take that back."- Asher

"Fine, have it your way. Although whatever chance you think you have by entering the tournament is a waste of your worthless time. I'm going to be the one who wins, I'm going to be the new champion fighter of Mune: Swiftwing! If you enter the tournament, you'll just end up like your parents, dead in the first round, what a tragedy, how sad you must have felt, having your family honor thrown away like it was nothing."- Garnet

"How DARE you!"- Asher

(Asher starts the fight which goes on until a passerby interrupts.)

"What's going on here?"- Passerby

"She just attacked me!" (Garnet brushes down her shirt) "Honestly, street filth like this should be kicked out of the city for tackling respectable young ladies like me."- Garnet

(Garnet leans in to whisper in Asher's ear.)

"See you in the tournament, and when I win, I'll watch you die like both your parents did, and this time it will be no accident."- Garnet
