Poem of dreams and latent futures. Interpret for yourself. Please review and enjoy!
I come home tiresome and weary; a time for sleep
I lay there upon linens with so many visions; the thought is deep
I avoid dark corridors where I fear my fears may creep

This is a dream, surely, for my future lies before me
It waits for me as warm sands on a radiant beach
I wade in the waters of the shoreline, but the sands I cannot reach

Then sails by a strange man; a familiar face
Hes says "do not take your eyes from the future; swim forward, I implore thee"
I ask him "how could a look away from such a wonderful place?"

Only then had I realized I had, for a brief moment, looked away
The future had vanished from my sight; I did not know what to say
I sunk beneath the waters dying...but breathing all the way.
