She wont smile, she sees no reason

seeming blank all the while, inside she's bleedin

goes on, pretending its another day

something's wrong, even in the character she plays



Life's a mess, on a regular day

Thrown in distress, bring on the pain

She can handle it, like every time before

keeping with it, taking on more and more



Living a paradox, it gets confusing

between her thoughts, between her feelings

she feels weak but stands strong

inside she freaks but never lets on



Feeling so brittle but wont let herself break

losing control sounds like a mistake

stepping careful and a little faith

It's painful, but it will be okay
