an ode to moms
Yellow eyes glare

through the jungle night

with her killing stare

waiting to strike.

Stalking her prey

awaiting the fight

craving her slay

mouth watering, longing to bite.

Crouching low

a breathless sound -

the death blow.

Silence echos all around.

Stalking Tiger, beautiful beast

gives her cubs a bountiful feast.
