Greek hero

    I was a man who was a tactical genius. He had invented the art of gorilla warfare. I was a

spartan in the Spartan army. I was let go by Sparta through the deception of my superior. Eloc was a very smart

man. Yet he knew no boundaries to the physical nature of a child. I was not as big as the other kids. This is

where our story starts. I also was going through vigorous training at the beginning of the story.



    I was walking back to his barracks defeated. I was was very disappointed. Then I learned about

acts of courage by the gods. Then I heard a myth. The myth had told about acts of deception that the gods had

performed on each other. I liked how these gods who were weaker had overcame more powerful gods by

deception. I then realized that the way to beat the other kids and not die in training was to out whit them. I was

then seen by Eloc. I then ran and hid. He started looking for me. Eloc passed right over me. I then creeped up to him

and stabbed him through his stomach. Then kicked him off the cliff with the sword.


 
    Many of his peers came rushing over to the cliff. I hid behind a rock. The soldiers started stepping towards

the cliff. When they stuck there heads over to see if Eloc survived I came out of behind the rock and pushed

them over the cliff. I knew that if anybody was to find out of his actions he was a deadman. So I did the

best he could to hide it, but it was inevitable that someone would find out that he murdered five spartans. For the next

morning Enots had seen that I killed the five spartans. Enots had then told the closest spartan two him. The

then looked at me with a glare. The look in his eyes was like the spartan was about to break out laughing. Sure

enough the spartans cheeks popped up and he started laughing. When he started laughing I was relieved.


   
    Then out of the blue arrows started falling from the sky! The neighboring village started to attack. The spartan's

called on all of us to help defend Sparta. Nohtanoj quickly grabbed a spear, and shield. He charged out of the building

and went behind a rock. Several enemies passed right by him. When he seen the moment Nohtanoj struck. He

stabbed on of the soldiers and his spear went all the way through the soldier! He then hid in the tall grass. The others

were scared because they had yet seen this type of warfare! When they started to walk on, and  Nohtanoj struck

again. This time he took out two soldiers. Then he hid again. The soldiers were at this point petrified. There was only

three of them left. Nohtanoj knew that there guard was up. So he improvised. He made them think that he was

to the left while he was to the right. When they were all looking towards the right he picked up a bow and shot all of

them. All of the work I did was in vain though. There were thousands more.


     
     


      They retreated back to inside the wall. One of the men was freaking out saying we were all going to die. Then

one of the men asked for suggestion. I said why don't we fight hidden. Someone asked what he meant.

I said why don't we attack then hid, and then attack again. They asked what kind of cowardly warfare is this?

Then I said that this type of warfare is meant for attacking larger numbers with small numbers. The other

soldiers said this was cowardly, and not the spartan way of fighting. Then a man screamed out enough. The man had

white hair and was tall. His armor was different from the others. The other spartans seemed to respect him a lot. The

old mans name was Ynot. He said that they were outnumbered over thirty two one. Ynot said that even though this

type of warfare was a cowards way of fighting it gives the spartans and advantage. Then me, Ynot, and the rest

of the spartans hid behind stuff, and under objects. Not soon after they did this the Etagloac's broke down the gate.

Ynot raised two fingures. Then we charged them! The spartans blocked off the escape routes of the Etagloac's. Then

the spartans circled around them. after we circled around them. Then me, and the spartans thrown the spears

at all of the enemies. Hours after the battle had started it was done.


  The Etagloac's had surrendered when there numbers went from in the thousands two in the mere hundreds. After

the battle had ended though the other spartans banished me. I was very sad that he was banished

from all that he ever known. Sad I hit the road with only a shield, sword, suit of armor, and a bow n arrow.

I wondered what he was going to do as of now. Then Ares told him that his destiny shall unravel in the future

for I was chosen by Ares for a task. A task that will test me to my limit.

   
        Five years after my banishment, and I had yet to find what the task from Ares was. The task that Ares had told

me so long ago that was going to unravel in the future. One day I was walking down a road heading to Athens, and I

seen a women. I fell in love at the first sight. I started to walk towards her. Then she attacked me! I throws up my

shield! When her knife hit the shield it broke. So she punched me. This only broke her hand, wrist, and all the fingers

on the hand that she punched with. She struck me once more then I head butted her. A few second after I head

butted her she was taking a nap on the ground. I picked her up and carried her to Athens. I explained what had

happen to her, and that she was a bandit. They said that she was a princes of two villages, and that her name was

Princess Theat. At this point I felt worse about his actions.


     








        When Princess Theat came to I was going to waiting by her bedside. It took several days before the Princess

would wake up, but when she did it brought joy to me. I thought that he killed her. I told my his name, and

said that I was sorry. I said in return for my actions that I would offer her protection on the way home to her

villages. She was ticked that I had head butted her and she thrown a knife at me, and I caught it. I

thrown the knife into the ground.  Princess Theat was impressed by the skills I had. So she offered me a job. 

I was obliged to accept Princess Theats offer. Theats had assembled and army for her trip back to Tantruas.

Theats told me that he will have to stay near her or within eye contact of her at all time. Princess Theat  told

me to get as much supplies as he could afford. I told Princess Theats my financial problems. She told

me that she would give me thirty drachma to get a new sword. On the agreement that I shall pay her back.

I agreed to the terms and got me a new sword.


      The troops, the Princess, and m left for the Princesses village. We traveled for days before we was even

half ways there. Then a week later we were able to see the village. We made a final push. We walked for twelve

hours. They eventually made camp next to a cliff. They all set down and tell stories. Then one guy asked

what I did before he met the princess. He told them at the earliest he was a spartan. Then I was banished.

I told them that I wanted to find who told on me for my actions. They asked me what I did and I told them I killed five

spartans. Then I walked off and went to sleep.


      When morning came we started to move again. I looked at the city and it was huge. We got there within an hour.

I walked into the palace with the princess. She told that my room was down the hall, and the first room to the right. I

walked to my room and opened the door. I was in aww of the shear size of the room, and contents. The bed was

twelve feet long,five foot high, and in the shape of a circle. Princess Theats walked to the door and told me to unpack,

and that I was do to the thrown room in ten minutes. Immediately after she said this I told her that I had no other

clothes besides the ones I was wearing. She told me to go to town and buy some. I asked her with what money?

She asked me if I had any money left from the thirty drachma? I told her that I did. After I told her this a booming

voice yelled out "Theat where are you. Come here now with your new body guard." I asked her who that was and she

said her dad. She told me that we had to go to the thrown room right now. I said ok.











    We walked in to the thrown room. Her dad was a big man. He had a beard, and mustache. He seen me and

instantly had a look of horror. He asked me why I was not in Sparta right now. I told him that I was banished for killing

six spartans. He looked at me in aww. He asked how I managed it. I told him how and he was amazed. He asked me

why I did what i did? I then told him that Eloc was going to kill me if I didn't kill him first ,same as the other spartans.

He then proceeded to ask me  what age was I when I was banished? I told him I was 13 when I was banished. He

was astonished that at the age I was that I killed more spartans that thirty of his fully trained soldiers could. He told

me to go to my room. I did as I was told and went to my room. An hour after I went to my room the king came in. He

asked me if I was busy and I told him no. We sat down and he put his arm around me. He looked at me and said "Boy

I am not going to lie. You have put yourself in one of the toughest jobs in the kingdom. You are now the head

bodyguard and the only bodyguard of my daughter. You shall fight for her. You shall protect her, and if it shall ever

come you shall die for her. The king also told me that he shall monitor my actives out of the castle as well as in. It

struck me as odd when he said out of the castle because I thought I had to be with the princess at all time. The king

then walked out of the room. The princess walked I and told me to go to bed right now because we have a long day

tomorrow. I stripped off my armor and laid down in the bed. When I laid down on the bed it felt like laying down on a

cloud. I started to feel my eyes get heavy and the next thing I knew I was out like a baby.


    I woke up the next morning to the prince was staring at me. This scared me. Its not everyday that you wake up

and somebody is staring with there face right above yours. I asked the prince what he was doing, and he said "I've

never seen a spartan. I told him that we were just the same as everybody else. He laughed at that. He said that we

were way more hardcore than any soldier that he has ever fought. The prince said that he remembers five years ago

that a spartan kid killed a whole squad without being seen by that squad. I then proceeded to ask him what was he

doing at that battle. The prince then said that he was observing all the warriors. I asked why he was observing the

warriors and he said"For my sister to marry. Then I seen you in battle. Then I told my dad and my mom. They said

that they shall observe you, and so we have been observing you for five years now."I was practically stunned by this.

Then I started to think. I seen a flash in the hills when I first met the princess on my trip to Athens. I asked the prince if

that was him up in the hills, and the guy who asked what I did before I met the princess. The Prince said that indeed it

was him. Then the princess walked in. She told me to get dressed, and that we was heading into town.  The Prince

told me that I shall marry royalty. After I got dressed I went to the thrown room to meet with the Princess Theat. When

I got there the Princess said it would be just me and her would be heading to town. I said ok, and we left off. 







        I was surprised by the beauty of the road in between the castle and the town was beautiful. We walked for five

minutes before we reached the town. when we got there I asked the princes what we are going to do. She said that

we were going shopping. I said ok and we start to walk down the street. As we was walking I asked her why they

were spying on me for five long years. She instantly stopped. Her face turned white and she looked at me. She asked

me how I known, and I told her that the prince told me. She became furious. I asked her why she was so mad about

me finding out about this. She then told me I was not suppose to know about this. I said ok and we started to proceed

forward. We walked in silence for a while till we got to a dress shop. The man inside greeted the princess, but was

petrified by me. I told him I was the princess's personal body guard.


      The princess started looking at a few of the dresses. She picked out three dresses.Then she grabbed me by the

color and pulled me in the fitting room. She told me to try on the dresses, and then walked out. I asked her if I had

to and she said I did. So I put on a dress over my armor, and walked out. She told me I have to have only a dress,

and my undergarments. I then proceeded to strip off my armor and put on one of the dresses. When I got out there

were a few people all looking at me. I told them that the princess made me do it. Then me and Princess Theat sat

next to each other and got painted holding hands and kissing each other's cheek. The princess then let me go back

into the fitting room get out of the dress and put my armor back on.


      The princess yet again jerked me by my collar. This time she told me to stand in front of the door. I asked her why

she needed me to stand watch while she was behind some curtains. She said that I had to do what she said, and to

quit arguing. So I did as she told me to do and quit arguing. She came out and asked me how she looked. I told her

that she looked spectacular. Then she asked me if the dress made her but look big. I didn't know how to answer this. I

told her it doesn't, and she said alrighty. After a while we left the dress store. We started to walk down an alley and we

met trouble. Ten armed bandits wanted all of our stuff. We told them no and the then said that we was in for a fight.

One charged the princess. He had a long sword and seemed like a formidable opponent. I thrown myself in front of

the princess. I had my shield so I put that in front of me. He hit the shied with such force that it broke his sword. I then 

hit him in the head with the shield. Then two men charged me on each side. I dropped to a knee pulled out me double

sided spear and it impelled both of them. Then and archer started shooting arrows while another person charged at

me. I punched him and used him as a human shield. I made an advance on the archer and thrown a javelin at him.

The javelin went into his stomach. Then I turned around. A man was sneaking up behind the princess while a guy was 

distracting her from the front. I grabbed the archers bow and shot the guy in the back. Then I shot the guy in the front.

Then before I could do anything else the last three alive ran.



      I asked the princess if she was alright, and she answered yes. So I told her we need to get back to the castle

and tell her father about the incident. So we headed back to the castle. The king was furious about what had

happened. He screamed out "We must find these bandits and kill the rest of them." When he said this he had

pounded his armrest with his hand. I asked the princess if I could walk away and she said go to my room. So I

walked to my room. The princess later came in and started to walk towards me. Princess Theat thanked me for

saving her from the bandits. She said if it wasn't for me she would have been mugged, and killed. I told her she was

welcome, but there had seem to been a very important matter on her mind. Something that was about me that she

would't tell me. The way that she looked at me. The way that she talked to me I couldn't tell what but she had

something to tell me.


        So Princess Theat and me started to be together more and more often. Soon I fell in love with her.I had told her

that I shall love her till my last dying breath. A love that had withstood the test of time. Ten months after we had got

into a battle with bandits we made it official that we were together. Then on my twenty second birthday we had gotten

married. The following year we had a beautiful daughter. Then two years after that we had a handsome son. Then our

son and daughter went on got married, and had children. I had also made an alliance with Sparta,Rome, and Persia.


        Then one day peace and tranquility went into flames. A inferno had engulfed the city. To make matters worse

my old city was attacking. Athens had grown tiresome of my cities peace and tranquility and decided to attack.

My son and wife was helping me defend the castle when the worst had happened. The city gates had fallen. Athens

had flooded the city. Me and my son went into the city to protect it. There were thousands of Athens soldiers , and

only nine hundred of us. I first clashed with a soldier from Athens at the same ally where Theat and me were attacked 

by the bandits. There was only three of them.They took just like the last three that I did not kill. Then it hit me they

were spies sent by Athens. I charged them with only my sword,shield, and my trust worthy double sided spear.


          I stabbed one in the chest. Then one of them stabbed my pinkie toe. I ripped of his helmet and head butted

him. I then looked at the last one that was alive. I thrown my spear into his his heart. I went over picked him up

with one arm and then picked up my spear with another. After I picked up my spear I dropped his body.

I dropped the lifeless body of that Athenian. Soon after my run in with the other three bandits that I did not kill

before I rallied with my troops. When I got there the situation was not very good. We had sufored massive loses. One

Ninth of my men was dead. So I told them to hide behind, and under anything and kill the enemies as they passed by.





    Before the next hour had passed we killed many of them. So I had took two hundred troops to protect the castle.

When I got there it was a sight of horror. Already six hundred Athen troops had got to the castle wall. My men inside

we out numbered three to one. I managed to penetrate into the wall with all the soldiers which greatly increased our

numbers inside the wall. I told the troops to hold out and persevere until reinforcements arrive.


    They did just that soon after I seen a sight to behold. Spartans and Persians was arriving. Just in time two

because Athens had overran the city. I was rejoiced that the two nations was coming. Athens was now surrounded.

I ran to the gate and had let the Spartans in. Right after I let them in the Athenians broke through the gate. The

spartans charged them. It was a slaughter the spartans killed all of the Athenians that came in. I ran into the castle. I

seen a familiar face. It was enots holding my children, grandchildren, and wife hostage. We clashed. He had no

shield, or armor. So I knew I could have an advantage at closer range. When I charged him he slide to the left and cut

my arm. I punched him strait in the jaw. He hit the ground hard when this happened. I went over to him he kicked me

in the chin. I fell back. I hit him in the head my shield. He started stumbling backwards. Theat had tripped him. I pulled

my sword out and ran toward him. I put as much force as I could and dove down with my sword penetrating his chest. 


      Then a big boom came. Some Athens came down from the second floor. There were hundreds. One charged

Theat, and my kids. I leaped in front and took the blow. I lived long enough to see the spartans and persians win the

battle. My city was safe and so was my family. My legacy lives on even today. Ambushing and hiding is still a deadly

type of fighting many still use.
