GOoD morning!!! Not sure why this example popped in my head.... but it did so I hope somebody is reached by it. Ever see the Blair Witch Project? In it these kids are drawn on by curiosity to see if the Blair Witch was real. Eventually they are trapped, only going in circles trapped in a vortex of evil things and just waiting to die. What about that about that was so frightening? Maybe because they were just being blown around like the chaff in this verse?  Wandering and being pushed around by whatever, instead of having a direction to go. God provides direction, His word is your compass and with focus on Him he will lead you, not in circles but in a way that you can be a Light in this world, not just wandering and waiting to die!!! What a G.R.R.E.A.A.T. day lies ahead!!! What a G.R.R.E.A.A.T. day He has in store!!!
Psalm 1
English Standard Version
1 Blessed is the man[a]
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
2 but his delight is in the law[b] of the Lord,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
3 He is like a tree
planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.
4 The wicked are not so,
but are like chaff that the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;
6 for the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.
