And wait...
I count the hours ‘till I see you,
My tethered heart reaches for freedom,
Another hour, minute, moment,
Befalls me like a phenom.

I’ve waited for you days and days,
But it feels like years and years.
I’ve cried and cried and longed and longed,
And feared a holy fear.

Where do you go when you’re alone?
Do you fathom depths of hell?
I imagine you like a symphony,
But I cannot hear you well.

Come to me ferociously,
I see you on the hill.
You loved me then and love me now,
And I know you always will.
