Broken

My blue emerald eyes were covered with tears.

Leaving my black mascara painting my face with black.

I watched as my fake smile broke down to a frown.

I was slowly breaking.

I could see it in my ugly reflection.

The bruises that covered my arms and legs were hidden under woolen cloth.

Stringy blonde hair was covered in blood.

Along with the cuts on my wrists.

Teeth as yellow as chalk blinded me by sadness.

I just can’t take this!

My boney fists pounded on the glass mirror,

Cracking it into little pieces and digging into my skin.

More red stained my skin.

The mirror was now broken.

And finally,

I can look at the reflection of how I really feel.

Broken.
