A beautiful romance poem.
One dance

A long time ago

In the heart of France

Seems like ages ago.

I was young

a fresh chick.

He was young too

But he always was ticked.

A masked party

We both were there

I was part of the tardys,

He was the peron in which everyone stared.

After a while

I was ready to go

But her caught with his smile

and pulled me back to the dance floor.

He talked with a sweet voice

"Would you like to be my dance partner?"

I blush and say "I am your choice?"

He laughed and said "The dance has already started."

I giggle as her takes my hand

and leads me to the center.

I feel like the princess in the land

as the dance enters.

We glide on the floor

Oh how we soar!

He takes me and turns me around

And lifts me up off the ground.

Soon the dance comes to an end

He takes me into the last bend

And whispers in my ear

"Do you want to get out of here?"

I smile and nod my head

he takes my hand and leads me to the door

We find his car and I get in.

When he starts driving I feel like we can soar.

When I get home

late thatnight

I feel alone

without him in my sight

I feel his number

still in my pocket

Suddenly I felt somber

For I realized he had shot me like a rocket.

He had played with me

He had never loved me.

he had been with me

to have fun and gless.

and had made me blind

to make me un-see

I think for a moment

Wondering what to do

It was just one moment

Not anyhting too below

Just a moment

Just a prance

It was just one dance.
