8 Maids A Milking-3 Drinking Milk

Written for 12 Days Of Christmas Writing Contest. Taken from a video of three women who were maids drinking milk.

Three housemaids drinking milk-
What is the person who hired them
paying them for? I am glad that they
aren't cleaning my house for me.

One holds a shovel-is there snow outside?
She needs to go shovel the snow instead
of drinking milk with the other maids.
I didn't know milk still came in glass containers.

One holds a broom but I don't see her sweeping.
The other maid? I don't know what she is holding.
They passed the glass milk container around.
Are they getting paid to drink milk all day?

They are singing: "Whistle While You Work.
I didn't see the seven dwarfs anywhere or Snow White.
At least Snow White would be cleaning the house.
Are these maids waiting for eight Lords a leaping?

Hopefully, when these maids get done drinking milk-
they will get back to cleaning the house. How can
they stand the taste of milk? Milk is for cooking and baking.
I am done being a grouch. I think I will make a candy cane milk shake.
