one of the first poems i've ever written in english, maybe someone could help me with it
here's what i've learned about love

in about thirty years of loving

a)

the girl that was meant to be my sister

by the will of my parents and hers

who didn't like to see me kiss her

age three or four - memories blurred

b)

the girl that took my hand

on the very first day of school

whose touch i missed right after

we arrived at the door of the classroom

c)

the girl that i met on holidays

with my parents  - i guess it was spain

when i realized there were languages

i can't remember her name

d)

the girls in puberty

not that there were many

i: mostly awkward spotted and sweaty

they: more grown up - taller - any of them

e)

the girl i've been out with several times

the year i graduated

i slept with her being drunk

and - i believe - she hated it

f)

the girl i've been with in college

which took me month to be with

all my money my luck and my heart

well - it took her seconds to leave

g)

the woman that picked me apart

that i loved from the start to the end

to whom i never pretended to be

another guy than me

here's what i've learned about love

in about thirty years of loving:

nothing
