Poem about my son. Writing prompt: write a short poem about one of your relatives
My Monkey is spunky,
My Monkey’s got spunk.

He once was obsessed with
My rental car trunk.

He loves to play chess,
And even beats his dad.

But dad is very proud,
And he does not get mad.

When baseball season starts anew,
My Monkey loves to pitch.

When he becomes a pro player,
He will make us rich!

He always makes us laugh,
With his canny wit sublime.

And when dad makes him cut his hair,
I think it is a crime.
