I wrote this poem after being accidentally knocked over by a skateboarder.
Always searching for that awesome concrete wave. 
Or crashing on a rail that could put him in his grave.
He rides the cold hard concrete, the city's nasty crud.
Tries not to miss his landing with a bone crunching thud.
Launching off the edge like a mighty skateboard hero.
He’s cutting through the air, his gravity’s hitting zero.
He’s spinning in a circle showing all his crazy skills
Pushing to the limit as he’s searching for his thrills.
Sliding down a rail with sparks burning at his heels.
He’s become a local hero on his urban city wheels.
Searching for that ride that can launch him to the top
Skateboarding is his life and he’s never going to stop
