I HAVE A VOICE

I have a voice

In my stumble tongue it cage

As I strive to utter words per choice

I have a voice

Yet stammer mar me to never rejoice

Like a swirled wheel without gauge

Writer's notes:
This poem was written to model the ordeal stammerers go through in their life, I as Stammerer continue to endure this odds. Living a Stammerer is terribly embarrassing that it great effort to cope with society. I pray this work to help me accept myself for who I am, that discontinue banging my head to the wall. The piece is in Triolet form, and it consists of eight lines. The fourth and seventh are exact as the first. The eighth line is exact as the second. It has a rhyme scheme of abaaabab.
