PRESCHOOL TEACHER BRIGHT IDEAS ENRICHMENT CENTER MARCH 2010-APRIL 2010 I shaped children’s minds to be prepared for future experiences. PRESCHOOL TEACHER LA PETITE ACADEMY JULY 2009-FEBRUARY 2010 I showed children how to be autonomous through providing lesson plans where children could create anything from their imagination. This let the children be proud of their creations. EDUCATION CAPELLA UNIVERSITY, MINNEAPOLIS, MN MASTER OF SCIENCE IN PSYCHOLOGY WITH A SPECIALIZATION IN APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS I have not yet acquired this degree. I will start taking classes Nov. 4, 2013. For this degree, I must have 1500 hours field experience hours, which I will acquire while taking classes. UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS, FAYETTEVILLE, AR BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN HUMAN DEVELOPMENT, RURAL SOCIOLOGY, AND FAMILY SCIENCES WITH A SPECIALIZATION IN CHILD DEVELOPMENT I took courses like Survey of Exceptionalities, which concentrated on working with people with special needs. I took a class in Child Life, Child Welfare, Infant/toddler, child, adolescent, and adult development. COMMUNICATION In school, communications was my favorite class. I gave many presentations and always got complimented on my creativeness and flair. LEADERSHIP When I worked for Bright Ideas Enrichment center, I was Assistant Director. When I was in high school, I took a class called Peer Leadership, which was an elective, where we traveled from elementary school to elementary school to teach children the effects of bad habits.
