Radical Honesty

This one is very short, honestly.



You can decorate the pig and make it look attractive. Decoration makes the pig lose its natural beauty. The fact is, it still remains a pig.



Replace the word ‘pig’ with ‘mind’ everywhere and re-read the sentence.



I recognize the pig, not the temporary decoration.



Honesty is recognized and readily perceived, highly admired (pigs are not perceived or admired, only recognized, generally despised – I belong to a rare breed and I admire them), but rarely acknowledged and never followed, for whatever the reason. Any acknowledgement of honesty in terms of words almost always amounts to lip service soon to be forgotten. You cannot decorate honesty.
