A trip down memory lane

A trip down memory lane. A place I used to love,
a place I called home.

Tears swell up in my eyes,
a bitter taste in my mouth.

I did not want to leave, I was not ready to leave,
now I doubt I'll ever go back.

I'm just passing through, to catch a glimpse of some
of those I got to know. Would I recognize them,
would they even recognize me?

As much as everything changes, it all stays the same.
As most remain, but Rosey is gone.

My hopes, my dreams
Forever
I guess I'll never know.
