How a broken heart can help one find freedom
Broken Love
The vows spoken from the bottom of my very soul;
Spoken in a voice that only your soul was to hear.
Those vows were not strong enough to hold you.

Held you up through all the weak points in your life,
But your hands failed me every time.
The falls becoming harder and harder to take everytime.

Feelings coursing through my heart for you were like iron,
Every strong holding in every ounce of love.
Your words so soft only cut those irons like butter.

The blindness of my eyes kept me from seeing the truth,
For the truth hurt worse admitting than knowing.
And admitting the truth I was not strong enough to do.

My rock, my best friend, my world was everything you was too me;
I was only your right now.
I prayed up above for the knowledge of how to make you see me as your world;
For the love I felt for you was my entire being.

I cried in silence so you would not know.
The tears fell like rain drowning the voice of my mind.
I stayed, I loved, I hurt, and I died a little every day,
But I never strayed too far from the one who held my world in their hands.

I only pray that one day you realize the love.
That you will never again break in two;
Because tonight my heart finally died,
And no more will you hurt me.

No more will the irons be for you,
No more will I be blind.
No more tears will I cry.
No more sorrow will I feel;
For I have found my wings to fly away and away I will go.
