Some friendships never die
no matter what, they stay
Without need for goodbye

Seen you openly cry
never once will they stray

Their smiles in your mind's eye
holding your hand all day
Some friendships never die

They may greet with a sigh
but if needed will pray

No matter; shrill or shy
they never move away
