Dharamkot is a 10 min acclivious drive from Mcleodganj. The beautiful valley leading to Kangra offers a picturesque view from up here. It is inhabited by a lot of hippies. The best of the motorbikes bustle around the place. Nature lovers can amble among the rhododendron trees. Visit the Tibetan Children's Village which administers Tibetan foundlings and children whose parents had to return back to Tibet. Naddi is another nice visit as it offers scenic views. The area around the Dal lake is also quite absorbing. It is must-visit on your Himachal Pradesh course.

If heights give you a kick plan to take the most distant flight. You will not really care paying Rs. 3000 for it. For ROCK CLIMBINGthere are some wonderful avenues. Adventure sports is another major reason that you will be deeply affected by the place. ABSEILINGexcursions are also organised. The scenic allurement of the place is absolutely worth seeing.

The region offers you less known but more entertaining trekking ways. FRIENDSHIP PEAK TREKKINGtakes you to one of the splendid mountains. Best route to go for this is via Beas Kund.

It might be entertaining to pay a visit to one of the local factories where these are manufactured. APPLE CIDERis the thing to drink as there are apple gardens everywhere. The valley is popular as the FRUIT BOWL OF INDIA.



Old Manali is a hang out for juveniles and adults. Travelling northward from Manali is the awesome domain of Solang and further up Marhi. The Rohtang Pass marks the barrier between the arable valley of Kullu and Lahaul and Spiti.
