A Little Boy was Born

A little boy was born
His mother held his hand
The boy became a man
His wife held his hand

The man became a father
His children held his hand
Older and full of life's memories
His time on earth near done

His son held his hand
He knew his time was up and they sadly let him go

God's Angels took his hand
They took him on a journey
Our heavenly father took his hand and he became just like him
a part of God's great plan

He left behind a family that he loved so much
As Tears flowed from their eyes at the loss of one so loved

A voice from heaven whispered so gently in their ear
Look inside your heart he is always there

I am there beside him - You only need a prayer
