Why do we fight? Why is there war?
An eternal orbit propelled by inexistent forces of disagreeing masses
Earth, so called by humans, screams complexity to exhaust mortal intelligence
Magnified, that same intellectual capability thrusts itself in waves of ethnic survival
Think two tides, opposite, fighting each other on the Normandy beaches
The clashes of steel ruptured by explosions
Blood spread like jelly across the planet’s soil
Even now, three letters threaten vaporization
Nuclear six-shots held beside every person’s temple
Waiting on the insane man that opens his eyes and says
“I’m invincible”
While disgusting war and paradox treaties build walls
Berlin and China, unified brains held under the guillotine of conflict
Humans do the most irrational things
Like destroying a culture as naïve as tribal dances and sun gods
When our threads of life are barely a fraction different
Why are civil wars the bloodiest?
Suicidal nations in human conflagration
In reality
Each member of society participates in war to cleanse himself
Cognizant of death, evil
It is the innocence of human nature that beckons murder
Because we see separate nations
And not one Earth
