Fear of leaving a past behind to move forward to the unknown.
Darkness closes in.
The heartbeat throbs within the ears.
Breath caught in the throat.
The back of the mind resides all fears.
Pain burns behind the eyes.
Terror of the unknown is realized.
Lost ones self in the past.
Never found in a relapse.
Eyes have seen, but never known.
The image in the mirror,
Nothing more than a distorted clone.
