this poetry is about the mind, feelings and emotions of the heart. the beautiful chaos
sometimes its dark.
by dark I mean, empty.
empty words. empty echoes in place of where feelings should be.

I think.

I think because I do not know. In moments I don’t. Its blank inside. Like a blank canvas that once held a picture. an image I cannot see. Is is gone? or am I blind.

but then all at once, the waves will come.
overwhelming tides of emotion that can not be deciphered.

A tsunami of images suffocating me. I drown. over and over I collapse.

I am taken captive, prisoner of this storm. a storm that does not pass. one that simply goes dormant, until it is awakened again.

Like a beast it roars. Like a monster it destroys. Like a knife it scars.

I am wounded. It is wounded.

As it beats, each thump aches.

aching from the wounds that are stitched together with a memories.

that

will

never

fade.

thump.
thump. thump.
thump.
