All the things I tried before I understood, "I don't have to fit"
I liked black-
So, I tried to be goth-
But, I was too happy.

I liked music-
So, I tried to be emo-
But, I didn't cut myself.

I liked pretty things-
So, I tried to be a lolita-
But, I didn't have the money

I liked the clothes-
So, I tried to be visual kei-
But, I could only alter my clothing so much.

I liked anime-
So, I tried to be an otaku-
But, the wig kept getting tangled.

I liked them all-
So, I tried to be myself-
And I found my individuality.
