Opening her eyes it was still dark. The cement floor cold as she lay there trying to grasp what happened. Feeling her head she felt the gouge still wet with blood from the strike she took. Where was she, the last thing she remembered was walking to her car from the mall and then hit from behind. Now here in this pitch black room, bleeding, cold, and scared, she was waiting for what to come. A voice from which came from the opposite side of the room spoke out, "Are you OK?" Startled she jumped, realizing she was not alone. She waited. The voice called out again, "You will be OK." Trying to slide to a corner she barely was able to whisper because of fear, "Who are you?" The Answer was not what she expected, "You will live Suzy" then bright lights beamed in from all around and she was no longer in the dark but a hospital room. Two hours passed as she learned that she had been hit by a car in the parking lot and died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. She had been brought back.
