Just Like You

I am more than a lost soul seeking redemption.
I choose nothing more than to exercise the very
free will God gave to me to express and to be myself.

I am constant. I am unpredictable.
I am maudlin. I am funny.
I am impulsive .I can abstain.
I am healing. I am sickening.

I am deadly. I can save.
I am damned, but worthy of rescue.
I love my friends and hate them too.
I have enemies I consider friends.

I am hate. I am love.
I am sin. I am righteous.
I turn from my savior, yet I seek His dwelling.
I question the rules. My choice to obey.

I temper and forget my triumphs. I learn from my failures.
I know the path. I may choose not to follow.
I know when to show restraint, and when to strike out.

Good and Evil are not the same as right and wrong.
People need the ability to see the difference before they
can instruct others in either form.

Hypocrisy is not a mountain to give sermons from.
It is the very failure that impedes reception of the teaching.

I want. I need.
